Ingredients:
- 500g chicken (breast or thigh)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- Salt, pepper
- Wooden skewers
Method:
- Prepare the chicken: Clean and cut into small, bite-sized pieces.
- Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, chili powder, turmeric powder, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
- Prepare the skewers: Soak wooden skewers in water for about 20 minutes to prevent burning while grilling.
- Skewer the chicken pieces onto the wooden skewers.
- Grilling the chicken: You can grill on a charcoal grill or an electric grill. Grill each side for about 3-5 minutes or until the chicken is evenly golden brown.
- While grilling, you can brush the meat with the marinade to enhance the flavor.
- Once the grilled chicken skewers are cooked, remove them and enjoy while hot.
